Improving college education success for students with dependent children
The S.L. Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 1999. We believe that more can be done to help college students with dependent children who need financial assistance. Our organization seeks low income, single parents who are graduating from high school and starting college or are already full time college students. To qualify, students must reside in the greater San Diego area and attend a not-for-profit two or four year college or university in San Diego. Annual grants awarded by our foundation are used to pay for living expenses while attending college.
